I've always liked Coptic art (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coptic_art) as the graphic on the right, which I don't recall where I originally found it. There's something in the way that Jesus and others are painted that looks somewhat surreal. As a matter of fact, one day I might just go to an Orthodox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coptic_Orthodox_Church_of_Alexandria) service just of curiosity.
