10% teen gay sex (NYC)

Putting religion aside, men and women have experimented sexually maybe since humans were created. Depending how you see the following article, we could say that men and women start experimenting early in their sexual lives -- teenage experimentation. Then again gay sex might be a game, a tease, a dare or a way to find out about heterosexuality and homosexuality. Gay sex doesn't quite mean being gay, but it's seen that way.

"The study published Monday in the journal Pediatrics analyzed 17,220 public health surveys and found that more than a third of teens who had same-sex encounters identified themselves as straight."

Of course, within religion, gay sex is condemned. In some churches, it could even mean being kicked out of the church congregation and not being allowed back in the church building. Needless to say, some people (not only teens) have committed suicide due to the shame or at times been driven to suicide by teasing and/or rejection of his/her family and/or peers.

deeply in the eyes of evil

Sexual abuse, homosexuality and corruption were always the dirty secrets that everyone knew. Growing up Catholic, one had divide the good priests from the bad. Of course, for every pervert in the garbs of a priest, there's a good servant of God. Nonetheless the Catholic Church is nowadays plagued with stories of sexual abuse, pedophilia and other sexual scandals. Maybe this is the perfect scapegoat to leave Catholicism. This might be the main reason why I don't call myself a Catholic anymore. I'm a Christian plain and simple.

There's something dark and evil that I've seen in the past couple of years in the Vatican from all places. It constantly reminds me of stories of the end of times with false prophets, preachers and uttermost evil posing as good. Maybe it's all in my psychotic brain, but I can't trust the head of the Catholic Church at all. Well at the end of the day, I'm no one to be heard, but my instincts hardly ever fail me when reading a person's soul. In all, I see deeply in the eyes of evil where goodness should abide.

one reason Catholicism threw me off

One reason Catholicism threw me off was the sexual abuse and/or conduct of priests. All men are sexual and social animals. We all need some form or another of sexual activity and to socialize with our peers. Having a person away from sex in all forms -- including masturbation -- may frustrate the individual regardless of his religious beliefs.

The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41 (KJV)

So how have some these priests endured sexual desires? Many would say having sexual acts with younger children if not with other men (homosexual and/or bisexual) and/or women too (heterosexual only).

The best option is for the clergy to marry. This way the sexual animal is satisfied and the Christian person may worship God in word and deed.

Anyway you see it, sexual abuse of younger children is horrible crime. In my opinion, a man who abuses a child should be castrated. Unfortunately what triggers sexual abuse is not the penis and/or testicles, but rather the mind. Hence the best option is to kill the abuser. The latter is not a Christian thing to say, but sometimes you need to cleanse humanity from its filth whether he wears a robe or not.

disgusting

I grew up Catholic. Nowadays I wouldn't call myself such. Anyway It's disgusting what the Catholic Church has done for generations -- paying off victims of sexual abuse and/or molestation -- especially since the new pope took charge. There's something that makes me distrust him, sort of evil. It feels that this whole sexual abuse spectre is the white elephant sitting in the corner getting bigger day by day till the room explodes.

How can a priest (or any other title given to the pastor) use his power to abuse children? Regardless of the name, sex, religion, traditions and any other possible excuse, a PEDOPHILE is a PEDOPHILE and must be put in prison. Let's see how the PEDOPHILE feels when he gets molested in jail as he is taught that children are one of the protected groups even by the worst criminals.
